Rachel Johnson has said she fears her Celebrity Big Brother nomination validates her husband’s criticisms of her.

The journalist is up for eviction from the reality show house alongside Ann Widdecombe, John Barnes, Andrew Brady and Daniel O’Reilly.

In footage that will air on the Channel 5 show on Tuesday, Johnson can be seen discussing her nomination with former footballer Barnes.

She said: “What I’m worried about is the things everyone has said they have nominated me for are the things my husband complains about.

“I literally think this is confirming me in my worst fears about the person I am.
