Taking Back Sunday to bring anniversary tour to Birmingham

American rockers Taking Back Sunday will bring their 20th anniversary tour to Birmingham.

In addition to the tour, the band recently announced that they will be releasing a career-spanning compilation titled Twenty.

The album will feature 21 songs from the band’s collection, including two new songs. The record will be released on January 11.

Formed in 1999, the Long Island quintet are best known for hit songs such as Liar, Sink Into Me, A Decade Under The Influence, You're So Last Summer, Cute Without the 'E' and MakeDamnSure.

Earlier this year the group performed at Slam Dunk Festival at Birmingham NEC alongside the likes of Reel Big Fish, Jimmy Eat World and Good Charlotte.

In a career that spans two decades, the group has released seven full-length studio albums, the latest, Tidal Wave, being released in 2016.

Taking Back Sunday will play Birmingham's O2 Institute on June 13.

Tickets will go on sale from 10am this Friday.
