It is set to be hosted at The Slade Rooms next month while its usual venue, The Civic Hall, is being refurbished.

Original Cheeky Monkey DJs Marie Falahee, Carrie Weekes and Mel Lewis will be at the event playing tunes to get revellers into the Christmas spirit.

It famously featured music from all eras including 70s disco, 80s pop, rock, indie, punk and ska.

The club night was last hosted in 2017 when 1,500 people partied at the Civic Hall. The event raised £15,000 for Compton Hospice.

It had been the first stand-alone Cheeky Monkey night since 2012 and the first in the Civic Hall for almost six years.

Cheeky Monkey comes to Wolverhampton's Slade Rooms on December 7.
