An antiques expert has provided some suggestions on how to ensure your Christmas spread stands out.
John Ridgway from the Old Mill Antiques Centre in Bridgnorth said this time of year is always busy, as they get a lot of customers keen to make dining at Christmas a little different with the addition of some vintage items.
He said: "People come in looking for tables when they realise their existing one just isn’t big enough, more chairs to accommodate extra guests and a host of other bits and pieces to help make meals during the festive extra special.
