Movie music to raise charity cash at Dudley

The Viva Musica Choir will be performing at Dudley Town Hall on May 20.

The concert titled A Night at the Movies will celebrate the fabulous range of music used to make the movies magical.

The evening, which starts at 7pm, will include songs from musicals, movie theme’s and classic movies.

Singers will be joined by special guests Wesley Biggs and the choir of St Catherine’s C of E Primary School, Kidderminster. The choir will perform joint items with both Wesley and St Catherine’s school.

Wesley who is said to be in great demand for his baritone voice, performs throughout the UK while finishing his Masters of Performance at the Royal School of Music.

Viva Musica choir is supporting Mary Stevens Hospice and the concert will be raising money for charity.

Lorraine Newman, from Viva Musica, said: "As a choir based in Stourbridge, the Mary Stevens Hospice holds a special place for many of us."
