Organisers of The Photography Show have announced that the convention, which was due to be held from Saturday to Tuesday, will now be held in September.

It came as a fifth person in the UK died after testing positive for Covid-19, with the fourth death being a patient in Wolverhampton.

The post said: "Following the escalation of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Europe, we have taken the very difficult precautionary measure to postpone this year's The Photography Show and The Video Show.

"We are incredibly disappointed to take this action so close to the event opening, however the wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors and staff is of the utmost importance.

"The event will now run in September 2020, please visit out website for more information."
