A trial period has been kicked off at Inflata Nation, based at the Astle Retail Park off Cronehill Linksway, with a view to expand it.

The temporary sessions take part between 9am to 10am on Sundays and have been held to see if people like them.

The theme park launched in June last year and boasts slides, ball pits, climbing walls, gladiator podiums and obstacle races.

"From that we will see if we can do more events like it.

"What we want to do is to have it as a regular thing. A total of 45 people, including parents, came.

"And everybody enjoyed themselves and all the feedback we received was positive."

Parents, or carers, are allowed to enter the arena for free with every participant – who are on the autistic spectrum.
