Gracie Atkiss, Amourai Warner and Hattie Jenkins will wear the England badge at the World Karate Championships in Poland in October and the Commonwealth Karate Championships in Glasgow in November, where they will compete against some of the world's leading karate athletes.

The trio all train at Kaisho Karate Association in Rowley Regis and have earned their selections through their commitment, discipline and performances in competition.

Gracie Atkiss, who is sponsored by Flexi and Bestsport, has continued to develop into an accomplished competitor. Her selection for both championships recognises the dedication she has shown in training and competition.

Amourai Warner, who currently competes without sponsorship, has also secured places at both events through consistent performances, resilience and commitment to the sport. Representing England marks another important milestone in his karate career.

Hattie Jenkins, who is sponsored by NBB Waldrons and Bestsport, has established herself as one of the club's rising talents with a series of impressive performances at national and international level.

The athletes are coached by Benjamin Campbell, head coach of Kaisho Karate Association and England Head Regional Kumite Coach for the Midlands.

Mr Campbell said: "We are incredibly proud of Gracie, Amourai and Hattie. Being selected to represent England at one major international championship is a fantastic achievement, but being chosen for two prestigious events demonstrates the level of commitment, talent and consistency they have shown.

"They have worked extremely hard and have made many sacrifices to compete at this level. They will represent Kaisho Karate, Rowley Regis and England with pride, determination and professionalism."

Competing internationally brings significant costs, including travel, accommodation, entry fees, specialist training and equipment. The club thanked the athletes' existing sponsors for their support and said it would welcome sponsorship opportunities for Amourai Warner, who is currently seeking individual backing.

The selection of all three athletes highlights the continued success of Kaisho Karate Association and the opportunities available to young people through dedicated coaching and a supportive training environment.

The club wished Gracie, Amourai and Hattie every success as they prepare to represent England at the World Karate Championships in Poland and the Commonwealth Karate Championships in Glasgow.
