Sharp snubs Wolves move
Wolves' top striker target Billy Sharp today snubbed a Molineux move and opted to join boyhood club Sheffield United.
The 21-year-old former Scunthorpe hitman has finally ended one of the summer's longest-running transfer sagas to rejoin the club where he started his career.

Sharp had visited Wolves on Tuesday, but the Molineux men were always in danger of losing out to the emotional pull of the club that he supported as a boy.
Blades director Terry Robinson today confirmed that Sharp is Bramall Lane-bound in a deal worth more than £2m, including add-ons.
"We made it known to Billy's representatives eight weeks ago that we would be interested in bringing him back here," he said.
"We're now just waiting to finalise everything and there's a possibility that a couple of players could be going the other way as part of the deal. Billy's glad to be back, he knows what we're about and we hope he'll score plenty of goals for us."
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy will be disappointed , but may have felt that the £2m asking price was too much for a player who is unproven at Championship level.
He is now ready to turn to other striker targets, with Sharp's rejection sure to speed up a deal for Southend forward Freddie Eastwood. The Eastwood camp have privately insisted that the move is still on track and the Shrimpers star has made it clear that Wolves are his first choice.
Wolves have other irons in the fire, with Sunderland striker Stephen Elliott another name moving up the wanted list. He would be available for around £1m and made his name under McCarthy at the Stadium of Light.
They could also return to Burnley with another bid for their Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty. Wolves had a £1m bid rejected last week.
The Blades have pulled off a transfer coup to snatch the hottest striking sensation outside the Premiership from under the noses of Wolves, Norwich and city rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
Wolves and Wednesday both lodged £1.5m bids.
