Roger Johnson set to join MLS side

Ex-Wolves defender Roger Johnson is training with Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids.

Johnson left Wolves in February after 18 months in first-team exile and after a short spell at Charlton was released in the summer.

The £4million signing made 72 appearances for the club but was seen by many as the fall-guy as Wolves suffered successive relegations. Now aged 32, he is hoping to earn a move to the American side.

Kevin Doyle, who left Molineux in May, also plays for Colorado Rapids.
