Wolves' rookie left-back Scott Malone is believed to have been made available for £150,000.

Malone already has a price tag attached to him, according to Burton Albion boss Paul Peschisolido.

The 20-year-old has been offered a new deal by Wolves but hasn't yet decided whether he wants to stay at Molineux, where his opportunities are again likely to be limited.

Malone had a successful six months on loan to the Brewers last season, but former Birmingham striker Peschisolido has virtually ruled out any chance of the England under-19 international returning to the Pirelli Stadium.

Peschisolido said: "I think Wolves would probably be willing to sell, but a figure of £150,000 has been mentioned.

"That would put Scott way out of our league financially, but I also think he's keen to play higher than League Two if he decides not to take up the offer of a new contract at Wolves.

"Either way, he's going to cost the sort of money we haven't got, because Wolves will either want a fee for him or seek compensation at a tribunal."
