England World Cup dream for West Brom striker Saido Berahino

Albion young-gun Saido Berahino today revealed he is dreaming of an England World Cup place – even if he goes to Brazil as a 'tourist'.

But Berahino admitted he is still an outsider to gatecrash Roy Hodgson's squad despite a stunning start to his England Under-21s career.

The 20-year-old took his tally to six goals in four games for the Young Lions with two against Finland on Thursday and his form for club and country has seen him tipped as a potential World Cup candidate.

The Burundi-born Albion academy graduate admitted he would love to be included, even if he fails to get onto the pitch.

He said: "I have had a taste of a World Cup with the Under-20s and I would love to have that again.

"It's a great feeling for any player at any level. If the call was to come it would be a great learning experience for me, even if I was to go there as basically 'a tourist'.

"Being around the seniors and all the players that have done it before – I would learn a lot just from that."
