Increasing speculation that Villa midfielder James Milner has already been the subject of a £24million bid from Manchester City are thought to be wide of the mark.
Increasing speculation that Villa midfielder James Milner has already been the subject of a £24million bid from Manchester City are thought to be wide of the mark.

But the Eastlands club are keen on the midfielder and a move for the England international is thought to be imminent.
Reports today claim they could offer defender Nedum Onuoha as a sweetener, but Villa owner Randy Lerner has already insisted the player is not for sale.
Milner is now training with his country in Austria in preparation for next month's World Cup and has earned praise from national team assistant boss Stuart Pearce.
He said: "He plays with passion and desire. If you're a manager you can't have enough James Milners in your team.
"James has made great strides this season and moving into the centre of midfield has helped him become a more rounded player."
