Prices will remain the same as for the current campaign during the two-month window, which expires on April 6.

The club have also announced their Junior category will be moved from under-16 to under-18, meaning attending the match stays cheaper for young supporters.

Villa are currently battling for promotion to the Premier League but the club has sought to reward the loyalty of supporters by freezing prices.

"We are very aware of the importance of the claret and blue army,” explained chief executive Keith Wyness.

"We have enjoyed big Championship attendances at home. Villa Park has been rocking and we've really got our swagger back.

"The prices in our early bird window mean that adults can come from £14 per game and juniors from £3 per game.

"That's if we stay in the Championship but the hope is that we make an emotional return to the Premier League. Even then, with fewer games in the calendar, our early bird prices will be very affordable."

The most expensive adult season ticket at Villa Park will remain pegged at £595 during the early bird window. The cheapest adult ticket is priced at £322.

In addition, season ticket holders will once more receive free entry to the club’s first cup game of the campaign, a measure initially introduced as a token of goodwill following relegation from the top flight in 2016.

Season ticket holders also receive free entry to all under-23s games as well as all Villa Ladies fixtures.
