Thousands of people made their way through central London on Saturday afternoon during this year’s Pride parade.
The parade began north of Oxford Circus on Regent Street.
More than 26,000 people were estimated to be taking part, watched by a crowd expected to number around one million.
The parade followed what is believed to be the world’s largest Pride festival.
Met Police Assistant Commissioner Martin Hewitt joined officers and cadets at the parade.
Police warned crowds to be vigilant during the celebrations.
Some took the opportunity to protest.
The march marked 50 years since the Sexual Offences Act 1967, which decriminalised homosexuality in England and Wales.
