Stafford Grammar School is celebrating another year of academic excellence today as Year 11 pupils receive their GCSE results.

In a Year Group of 50 pupils, 46% of all exams were awarded top grades 9–7 (A*/A equivalent), with an overall pass rate of 96% at grades 9–4.

Head, Dr P. A. Johnson, praised the hard work and resilience of the year group:

"Our GCSE students have performed incredibly well, and we are immensely proud of their achievements. To see nearly half of all entries awarded the top 9–7 grades is a testament to their dedication, supported every step of the way by our talented teaching staff and supportive families."

"While we celebrate these high-level statistics, the real success lies in the personal triumphs. For many pupils, achieving a grade 4 or 5 represented a huge hurdle overcome through sheer perseverance. Every single progress story deserves equal celebration today."

With enrolment now open for September, Stafford Grammar School looks forward to welcoming both returning pupils and new joiners into its expanding, record-breaking Sixth Form.
