A police operation has seen a crack down on illegal off-road bikes as part of ongoing efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour in Staffordshire.
Staffordshire Police said the latest Operation Reclaim took place on Thursday and saw officers target hotspots across the county.
As part of the operation, the National Police Air Service’s fixed wing place worked with the forces road crime team, response officers and five police bikes, including the two new Stark Varg electric bikes.

During the operation, two off-road bikes and one e-scooter were seized.
Inspector Chris Moss, of the Staffordshire Police road crime team, said: “We regularly receive reports of off-road bikes causing disruption and being driven anti-socially and we do not underestimate the issues that the illegal use of vehicles cause.
“I am pleased we are continuing to work at pace with colleagues across the organisation to target these vehicles and those who use them irresponsibly.”

"We were pleased to help fund the two new Stark Varg electric bikes, which are already being used to support our ASB Team and Staffordshire Police in taking action against those who ride illegally and put others at risk.
"The seizure sends a clear message that Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Staffordshire Police will do all that they can to eradicate this nuisance behaviour that blights the city, by working together under the Operation Transom banner.
