One of the men, Jassdeep Singh, 21, was been found guilty of conspiring to commit grievous bodily harm (GBH) on Wednesday (August 27) following a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

His conviction comes after Faisal Hussain, 19, previously pleaded guilty to the same offence. Police have now released images of both men.

The conviction and guilty plea come after a man was attacked with machetes in Barcroft Road, Wolverhampton, at around 4.30pm on February 13 this year, and suffered life changing injuries.

An investigation was immediately launched and officers carried out CCTV enquiries to identify those involved and arrested Singh, and Hussain, later that month.

Singh, of Ingestre Road, Wolverhampton, and Hussain, of Goldhill Road, Handsworth, were remanded in custody ahead of their sentencing on a date to be confirmed.

Detective Constable, Leah Povey, said: "This was a horrific attack in broad daylight.

"There's no justification for such extreme violence and these two men will rightly be spending time behind bars for their actions."
