The incident on Bilston Road had meant trams were only operating between Priestfield & Edgbaston Village,  but the line has been cleared and a full service between Wolverhampton & Priestfield is back in use.

The collision, which left a vehicle blocking the track, has caused a number of service delays.

West Midlands Metro have confirmed that any unused tickets are being accepted on the National Express West Midlands number 79 service.

West Midlands Police and West Midlands Ambulanced Service have been approached for comment.
