Football club announce fundraiser for city charities
AFC Wolverhampton City have announced details for their upcoming charity football match, in support of The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity and the local Macmillan Cancer Support hub for the city.
The fundraiser will take place at AFC Wolverhampton City's Prestige Midlands Arena on Sunday, May 3, and a few familiar faces have already been announced.
Andy Pearce (My Mum Your Dad), Ben Bailey (non-league football veteran and Hednesford Town legend), Brandon Bethell (boxer and former Midland Area Champion), Cory McClane (Waterloo Road), Dan McNamara (Wolves Women Manager), Gary Powndland (comedian), Harry Lowbridge (Coronation Street), Jai Herbert (UFC fighter), Kaine Mitchell (TeamGB and British Cycling BMX rider), Kirstie Bavington (Boxer and 2x EBU European Champion), Kyle Perry (former professional football and podcast host), Ollie Cooper (boxer and former Midland Area Champion), Reepa (grime artist), Zak Douglas (The Good Ship Murder).

On the day, there will also be a DJ, bouncy castle, face painter, inflatable slide and Nerf shootout.
Food will be available from Wulfs Fittle, Mrs B's Kitchen and Scott Whippy.
