Thousands turn out for Pelsall carnival's 51st birthday

Pelsall was once dominated by Pelsall Hall Colliery, having grown from its origins as a village with a handful of people employed in the nail-making cottage industry. New homes later grew to expand the village. Pelsall North Common is the area’s main beauty spot and is known as a wildlife habitat.
