Joe, 10, sets sights on Laser-Run World Cup after double gold win in Germany

A Staffordshire primary school pupil is aiming for the Laser-Run World Cup following his amazing double gold medal win in Germany.

Young champion Joe Bailey, aged 10, from Norton Canes, shocked parents and competitors alike when he smashed the competition at the 2023 Laser-Run European Championships, taking home two gold medals for Team GB.

The Laser-Run competition involves a mix of running and target shooting with laser pistols, with athletes running a starting 10m distance before going on to shoot five targets, then 300m and another five targets, and then another 300m to the finish line.

Joe Bailey has recently returned from Germany after winning gold in the European Championships for Laser-Run

Joe competed against other athletes from around Europe to take the prize and has now set his sights on the World Championship in August.
