Appeal after man suffers broken wrist in Dudley shop assault

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after an assault which left a man with a broken wrist.

The victim was shopping at Tesco Express in Upper Gornal on December 1 at around 7.30pm.

The man, aged 53 year old, mistakenly picked up a mobile phone in the shop.

Realising his mistake, he went to hand the phone back but was grabbed around the neck and aggressively pushed to the floor.

He suffered a broken wrist in the assault.

West Midlands Police has now released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 20DY/286111T/19.
