Four cut free from horror Black Country crash

Two pensioners were among four people who had to be cut free and taken to hospital after a two-car smash in the Black Country.
Two fire crews worked to free the casualties after the crash at the junction of Corngreaves Road and Timbertree Crescent in Cradley Heath just before 3pm on Monday.
Three people travelling in one car - a man and woman in their 80s and a woman in her 40s - and one man travelling in a separate car were all rushed to hospital.
Three rapid response vehicles, three ambulances, fire engines and police officers were all at the scene.
Debris was left strewn across the road and major damage could be seen to the front ends of both cars.

Ambulance Service spokesman Chris Kowalik said: "There were three people in one of the cars involved in the crash.
"A man in his 80s who had fractured ribs was immobilised at the scene by ambulance crews.
"A woman in her 80s had a chest injury and a woman in her 40s was a 'walking wounded' casualty.
"All three were taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
"A man who was driving the other car had head and chest injuries.
"He was given pain relief and was immobilised before being taken to Sandwell Hospital."
