Wolverhampton murder - man shot dead and second man fighting for his life
A man has been shot dead in Whitmore Reans in Wolverhampton this morning (Friday, September 19)
Murder detectives at West Midlands Police are investigating the death of a man shot dead in Leicester Street in Whitmore Reans in Wolverhampton in the early hours of this morning (Friday, September 19).
The victim, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene after being found seriously injured in a vehicle along with a second man, aged in his 30s. The second man has suffered life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital, police said.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Our investigation is at an early stage, and we're asking people to avoid the area as a number of scenes are being held and some local roads are still closed.
“Officers will remain in the area throughout the day as enquiries continue.
“If you saw or heard anything, or have any footage which could help our investigation, call us on 101 quoting log 358 of September 19.”
