Wolves set medical ahead of loan move for England international
Angel Gomes is having his Wolves medical this afternoon ahead of a loan move from French club Marseille.
The 25-year-old midfielder has already flown to England to complete the move on loan until the end of the season.
There will also be an option to buy him permanently for €7million (just over £6million), as the England international bolsters Rob Edwards' midfield options.
Wolves are also completing a deal today for Southampton striker Adam Armstrong, who is also having his medical ahead of a deadline day move.
An agreement was struck for £7million, plus £2million in add-ons, and he will become a new Wolves player before the window closes at 7pm today (Monday, February 2).
Wolves have also held talks about signing Che Adams from Torino, but it remains to be seen if a deal can be struck.
Meanwhile, Jorgen Strand Larsen is set to complete a £43million, plus £5million in add-ons, move to Crystal Palace.
Emmanuel Agbadou and Jhon Arias are both attracting interest from Turkey and Brazil respectively, but with their windows open later than today, there is no rush to complete a deal before 7pm.
