Man charged with vehicle offences following Birmingham arrest
A man has been charged with a number of vehicle offences following an arrest in Birmingham city centre.
Macaulay Linch, aged 18, has been charged with taking a vehicle without consent, attempted theft and driving without a licence or insurance, following an arrest in Birmingham city centre.
Linch was stopped by West Midlands Police on Navigation Street, just before 7pm on Thursday (January 29) where officers arrested him.
He was remanded into custody and appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Saturday.
He was again remanded in custody.
A force spokesperson said: "We've charged a man with a number of vehicle offences after officers arrested a man in the city centre last Thursday evening.
"Macaulay Linch, aged 18, was held on Navigation Street just before 7pm.
"Linch was charged with taking a vehicle without consent, attempted theft and driving without a licence.
"He was remanded in custody and appeared before the city magistrates court on Saturday. He was remanded in custody until his next court appearance."
