Six charged after class A drugs and weapons found in Wolverhampton

Six people have been charged after West Midlands Police executed a series of warrants in Wolverhampton.

Officers from the force's County Lines Taskforce, Operational Support Unit, Dog Unit, Drones Unit and Wolverhampton neighbourhood officers executed warrants at Oaks Crescent, Silver Birch Road and Mount Pleasant in the early hours of Tuesday (September 9).

A quantity of class A drugs and weapons including knives, a sword and machete were recovered.

Six people from Wolverhampton have been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Charlotte Gethins, aged 44, David Murray, aged 44, Wilson Kwizera aged 22, Tyrese Jackson, aged 22, Ashley Barnes, aged 46,  andJodie Fairfield, aged 36 have been remanded into custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 10.

West Midlands Police is specifically working to identify criminals involved in serious organised crime and bring them to justice as part of Operation Target.
