Search for suspects continues after West Bromwich pub stabbing

Police are still tracing the suspects behind a stabbing outside a West Bromwich pub which left a 24-year-old man seriously injured.

The man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after the stabbing outside the Flower Pot pub, in Spon Lane, on October 6.

A two-year-old boy was also injured in the incident. The man has since been released from hospital.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "He is no longer in hospital. Investigations are ongoing and there are no arrests at this stage."

The pub's license was temporarily suspended by Sandwell Council in light of the incident. A further council hearing will take place on November 4.

Police have combed through CCTV footage, carried out forensic tests and made house-to-house enquiries.

The pub was cordoned off and a police tent was set up outside the pub following the stabbing.
