WATCH: Black Country lock snappers caught on camera

Police have released clear CCTV footage of two would-be burglars attempting to break-in to a home in Wednesbury.

Officers at West Midlands Police are urging anyone who recognises the two men in the video to come forward immediately to help with the investigation.

They were caught on camera trying to break-in to a house during the night in Chestnut Road.

The pair, dressed in dark clothes with one man using a hood to cover his head, snapped the lock on the front door but were disturbed by neighbours.

They they escaped in a pale coloured vehicle.

Anyone who recognises them should call police on 101 quoting 20SW/122544G/19.

The incident happened on Friday, May 24 and police released the new footage earlier today.
