Man arrested after homophobic graffiti sprayed on cars in Cannock

A man has been arrested after homophobic graffiti was sprayed on cars, walls and garages in Cannock.

Police made the arrest after 26 vehicles were vandalised around Curlew Hill, Kelvin Drive and Huntington Terrace, in Chadsmoor, on Saturday night.

A 41-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been held on suspicion of criminal damage.

The man is now being questioned in custody.
