John Cox, 32, from Wolverhampton, was arrested on August 8 along with Brandon Dowen, 19, from Madeley, Telford, in connection with the death of Ishfaq Hussain in a car crash the previous day. In January they were charged with manslaughter.

Ishfaq Hussain, 52, died when his car, a red Skoda Octavia, hit a tree in Ironbridge Road, Madeley, Telford.

The two defendants appeared at Telford Magistrates Court today and were bailed to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on March 26.

The conditions of the bail were that the two should not contact each other or the prosecution witnesses, and that they should both reside at their current addresses.

GoCarz driver Mr Hussain suffered a cardiac arrest and was given CPR at the scene of the crash but could not be saved.
