Cause of Wolverhampton house fire revealed by emergency responders
The fire raged through the house on Saturday night.
Four crews rushed to the scene of Enville Road, in the Warstones area of Wolverhampton, following reports of a house fire on the road.
The fire service confirmed that around 20 firefighters were sent to the scene at around 7.21pm last night, with crews from Wolverhampton and Tettenhall in attendance.
The fire was confirmed as out as of this morning, with the cordon around the scene being lifted.

West Midlands Fire Service has now confirmed that the fire was caused by an electric scooter that was on charge at the time.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesperson said: “We sent appliances from Wolverhampton and Tettenhall, along with a Staffordshire appliance, which was from Wombourne.
“It looks like an electric scooter had caught fire. It was a scooter that was on charge.
"All occupants had evacuated prior to our arrival.”

Residents described their shock at the events on the night, with one saying that they could see ‘smoke coming from the windows’.
One neighbour said: “I could see the smoke coming from the window.
“It looked really bad from out here. I’ve never been so close to a house fire before; it’s really quite scary. I hope the family are okay.”
