Working alongside enterprise co-ordinators, schools and colleges, the advisers will be able to share their story, insights and offer tips which will help young people to make decisions about the world of work.

The Careers Enterprise Company is also seeking advisers and businesses to support passionate and driven young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Through guidance, work placements and by spending time engaging with young people it is hoped that, despite the challenges of 2020, the next generation are positive, primed and business ready.

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce will be running a free virtual event on December 9 to provide an insight into the volunteering role.

The virtual enterprise adviser information session will be delivered by Vikki Haines, Black Country Careers Hub and Enterprise Adviser Network leader.
