The discount store collapsed into administration in August after 93 years of trading, with thousands of workers forced into redundancy.

The high street store was unable to survive after being hit by inflationary pressures and competition from rivals.

Over 350 stores have closed across the UK, including shops across the West Midlands region.

Documents on Companies House, released recently by Wilko’s administrators have revealed that the budget chain owes a total of £157,261,588 to its trade creditors.

Among those listed as being owed money are Newell Brands UK, Lichfield, which is owed £282,786 and Walsall's Haemmerlin (£48,534).

OT Group Ltd, Smethwick, is owed £127,497 and PPM Industries UK, Cannock, is owed £98,800.
