Man, 43, and woman, 36, arrested on suspicion of Walsall burglary

Two people have been arrested following a burglary in Walsall.

West Midlands Police has announced that two people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following an incident on Vicarage Terrace, Pleck, Walsall.

Officers were alerted to a break-in at a residential address on the road just before 3.40pm on Sunday (June 22).

The intruders had left by the time officers had arrived but, following 'quick-time' enquiries, two people were arrested shortly thereafter.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were alerted to a break-in at an address in Vicarage Terrace, Pleck, just before 3.40pm yesterday.

"The intruders had left when officers arrived but following quick-time enquiries, we detained two suspects shortly afterwards."

A 36-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man have both been arrested and are currently in police custody for questioning.
