Range Rover boasts even more tech and luxury with flagship ‘SV Ultra’

The SV Ultra will sit at the top of the Range Rover line-up and is equipped with exclusive exterior and interior details.
Land Rover has revealed a new flagship variant of the Range Rover with the ‘SV Ultra’.
The Range Rover SV Ultra aims to deliver the highest level of luxury and will sit at the top of the firm’s model line-up.
The SV Ultra can be ordered in several paint colours with a Titan Silver finish made exclusively for this new range-topper. It includes fine aluminium flakes and advanced pigment technology to create a highly reflective surface. Other details include 23-inch wheels with Satin Platinum inserts and lots of silver chrome accents dotted about the exterior.
Inside, the car can be equipped with the world’s first in-car ‘Electrostatic Sound System’. It includes 21 lightweight thin-filmed transducers which are integrated into the headrests, existing speakers and seatbacks to give a consistent flow of audio, with Land Rover claiming it gives ‘concert hall sound quality.’

The cabin is also complemented by light duo-tone Orchid White and Cinder Grey Ultrafabrics upholstery, plus the door cards and centre console are finished off in a new rattan palm veneer material. Also, the Orchid White theme extends to the gear selector, seatbelts, speaker surrounds and SV Ultra-branded scuff plates.
Under the bonnet, the SV Ultra is equipped with a plug-in hybrid setup, known as the ‘P550e’. It uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six petrol engine mated to an electric motor and 38.2kWh battery pack to produce a total of 542bhp and can travel a claimed 74 miles on electric power.

The other engine setup available is Land Rover’s ‘P540’ 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine that delivers 537bhp and comes with mild-hybrid technology to boost its efficiency.
Orders for the Range Rover SV Ultra will be through invitations only, with the firm yet to announce prices for this special SUV.
