Pubs come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, with many converted churches, old theatres and even former courthouse premises.

It’s not often that a couple of terraced properties are converted into pubs, but when they are, they offer a unique look.
Although it is not entirely clear when the transformation into what later became the Rose & Crown in Brierley Hill took place, there is some evidence that it happened the mid-19th Century.
The front of the pub now features a single door where there would have been two entrances to the separate cottages.
