Codsall Beer Festival is ready to pull in ale fans

There will be 36 real ales from independent and local breweries at the second Codsall Beer Festival

The event is taking place in Codsall Village Hall on Friday, September 30, and Saturday, October 1.

It will be raising money this year for Codsall Community Group and Harry Will Walk, a local charity which aims to raise £80,000 to send a three year old from Codsall with cerebral palsy for life-changing surgery in America.

It will also feature between six and10 ciders from cider makers.

Among the brewers confirmed as supplying ales are Fownes Brewery, Upper Gornal; RAN Ales, Stoke-on-Trent and Joules, Market Drayton.

There will be entertainment on the Saturday for children including a face painter, bouncy castle and a small fun fair.

The festival will open from 6pm to 11pm on the Friday and 12 noon to 11pm on the Saturday with live music performed throughout the day.
