Stafford Flower Club to begin new chapter with move to community centre
The club is inviting members and newcomers to its first meeting at a new Stafford venue, with a special reduced admission price for September
Stafford Flower Club is preparing for a fresh start this month as it moves to a new home at Stafford North End Community Centre.
The club will hold its first meeting at the new venue on Wednesday, September 23, with doors opening at 1.45pm ahead of a 2.15pm start.
To mark the move, members and visitors will pay a special reduced admission fee of £5 for the September meeting, which includes light refreshments.
The guest demonstrator will be Louise Jones, whose floral arrangement demonstration is titled Back to the Future – a fitting theme as the club begins its next chapter.
A judge, demonstrator and teacher, Louise has been a member of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) for 34 years and is known for combining traditional and contemporary floral designs while sharing practical tips and techniques.
All of the floral arrangements created during the demonstration will be raffled, giving attendees the chance to take one home.
The club's new venue is Stafford North End Community Centre, Thorpe Hall, Holmcroft Road, Stafford, ST16 1JG, which offers ample parking and is served by regular bus routes.
