Eight West Midlands restaurants nominated in prestigious curry awards

The eight eateries making up the West Midlands shortlists in year’s Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards 2026 have been revealed.

Businesses were eligible in two categories: Regional Restaurant of the Year and Regional Takeaway of the Year..

Regional Restaurant of the Year – West Midlands

• Alessi Indian Restaurant & Bar - Audley, Stoke-on-Trent
• Namaste Dine - Longton, Stoke-on-Trent
• The Royale Dosa - Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham
• Tikka Town - Birmingham

Regional Takeaway of the Year – West Midlands

• Mahim Indian Takeaway - Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury
• Spice Fusion - Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent
• Spice Nation - Hollywood, Birmingham
• Village Spice - Telford

The official awards ceremony, dubbed the ‘Oscars of the Curry industry’, will take place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on October 12.
