Wolverhampton's Kristian Thomas has a golden opportunity in Glasgow
Wolverhampton's Kristian Thomas warned Great Britain's rivals there is even more to come from the host nation in tonight's men's team final at the World Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow.
Thomas and his team-mates set their qualifying benchmark on Sunday, but had to wait until Monday night to find out if they had finished in the top eight to qualify for the final – as well as the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Despite admitting they had achieved their initial goal, the 26-year-old Midlander wants more.
"Getting the team to Rio was the number one priority coming here and we're all delighted to have got the job done," said Thomas, who is joined in the team by Max Whitlock, Dan Purvis, Louis Smith, Nile Wilson and Brinn Bevan.
"Every member of the team contributed and we go into the team final knowing we have even more to offer to push for a medal."
Britain racked up an impressive 354.417 points on Sunday, a tally which was only bettered by Japan and China from the following qualifying heats.
That means they will start as one of the favourites for a medal, but will have to be wary of Russia, USA, Switzerland, Brazil and South Korea, who all finished within eight-and-a-half points of the Brits.
The team final will spell the end of these World Championships for Thomas though.
His 58.432 points from four of the six apparatus may have helped Britain into the final, but were nowhere near enough to qualify him for the all-round individual final.
He was ranked 19th in the vault and 20th on the floor, his best finishes, but required a top-eight place to reach the final.
An error on landing in his second vault cost him the chance to go for an individual medal to add to his vast collection.
Thomas won vault bronze at the 2013 World Championships in Antwerp, team bronze at the London 2012 Olympics as well as countless European and Commonwealth medals in his long gymnastics career.
