Walsall boss Richard Money today pledged to become a man of mystery over his team selection for Hartlepool, but insisted: "I won't panic."
Money hinted that he was considering turning to some of the Saddlers' up-and-coming youngsters in the wake of last weekend's home defeat by Oldham.
After a week of reflection, Money, who was still hoping of a breakthrough in the loan market today, insisted he was keeping his team under wraps.
But, in keeping Danny Wilson guessing, the Saddlers boss promised no knee-jerk reactions - but a fired-up team determined to put their season back on track.
"I haven't decided what the side will be yet," said Money.
"The good thing about this weekend is that Danny Wilson will have no idea what our team will be because it could be anything.
"He'll find it very difficult to plan for.
"I'm not about to make knee jerk reactions that other people will clearly want to make.
"In the last three games, we've won one, drawn one, lost one. We lost the home game here and lost it with a poor performance.
"It wasn't the fact we lost the game it was the way the game developed and the way that we performed that upset everybody so much, me included.
"I accept responsibility for that because I'm the manager.
"But we've taken four points from the last three games and we've got to get ourselves back on track at Hartlepool this weekend.
"I don't think we're going to get ourselves back on track by panicking and making knee-jerk reactions.
"Clearly one or two of the youngsters have been performing well in the early season and they will come into my thoughts."
