Wolves get glowing assessment from Bristol City boss ahead of showdown
The Bristol boss has welcomes the Wolves test as the Robins look to end their home woes.
Bristol City boss Michael Skubala is relishing the challenge of facing Wolves as his side look to improve their home form.
Wolves travel to Ashton Gate to face a Bristol City side buoyed by a dramatic return to winning ways at the weekend, when they ended a four-game winless run with a 3-2 victory over Bolton Wanderers.
The Robins had scored just twice in their previous six league outings before snatching a stoppage-time winner. However, home form remains a concern, with City having lost their last two matches at Ashton Gate and three of their previous four.

Skubala recognises Wolves as one of the Championship’s strongest sides but is relishing the opportunity to test his team against them.
“They are a very good team, full of quality,” he said.
“Andre in the middle of the pitch is an exceptional play making midfielder. Lopez can carry the ball well off the left, Armstrong up top who is a great dynamic mover, Said off the left as well, and Kieran Trippier who everyone will know about.
“There is no doubt that they have quality in their side. We are going to have to be good with the ball when it turns over, better in those moments and keeping hold of it when we get it. We are going to have to have a plan that is very solid to make sure their strengths don’t hurt us too much.
“But we also have to go after their weaknesses. They will have weaknesses like every opposition. We have to make sure we get that right to try and exploit them.”
Skubala went on to rank Wolves among the three strongest teams in the division.
He added: “For me, they are one of the top three teams that I have seen from the data and the stats, watching them play. West Ham, Middlesbrough and Wolves are very strong for me in the division.
“But that is what we enjoy, we want to go up against the best. I am sure the fans want to see Wolves who have just come down from the Premier League to see the level.”
Skubala confirmed Bristol City were carrying a few knocks and bruises from the Bolton victory.
Forward Lorent Tolaj is had to be nursed through Monday’s training session. He partnered Dom Ballard up front at the weekend.
