Enobakhare has impressed massively while with the Sky Blues, after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Scottish top-flight side Kilmarnock.

The 21-year-old attacker managed six goals in 18 games for Mark Robins’ men in League One, leading to him grabbing the gong at the club’s awards night on Sunday.

He is now due to return to Wolves, where his contract is set to expire this summer.

But it is understood the club has a one-year extension option in their favour which they are expected to exercise after he earned rave reviews at Coventry, even it is only to send him out on loan again or sell him.

The situation is the same for midfielder Conor Ronan, who has done well out on loan at Dunajska Streda in Slovakia.

Enobakhare made 21 appearances as Wolves stormed the Championship last season, scoring once.

He was even included in the first Premier League squad this term as Nuno Espirito Santo’s team drew 2-2 with Everton at Molineux.

Nuno said on Enobakhare’s future last month: “Bright is doing very well.

“But I don’t want to miss anyone as all of them are being followed by the club. Reports come weekly.

“All of the players, not only Bright, are being followed.

“In the right moment, we will make decisions regarding their futures. We have time to decide.”

Enobakhare, who made his Wolves debut in 2015, has played 49 times for the club, scoring three goals.

He did pick up an injury as Coventry ended the campaign with a 2-0 loss to Doncaster Rovers this weekend – but it is not thought to be serious.

The Nigerian was forced off with a thigh strain just before the break at the Keepmoat Stadium.
