"Magnifique" - West Brom fans react to the signing of Nolan Galves

West Brom supporters have taken to social media to react, after the club announced the signing of right-back Nolan Galves from French second-tier outfit Rodez.

The 23-year-old, who has joined for an undisclosed fee, has penned a four-year contract at the Hawthorns.

He becomes the Baggies’ sixth signing of the summer transfer window and here is our supporters have been reacting to James Morrison’s latest recruit.

@WBAJOPPO - Seems very comfortable on the ball from what I’ve seen. Looks a like-for-like replacement for Imray. Quick, agile and a modern day full-back comfortable with both feet and can beat a man.

@DarylMurph - Look at a Millwall podcast on YouTube. They said his defensive stats would be low as he played as more of a wing-back compared to full-back. As long as he does an Imray and wins his 1v1 duels and tops crosses into the box with his attacking threat, then he’ll done fine.

@JaydenWilk0 - Bonjour Baggies. Ye’s he’s winning us it all.

@Baggaman113 - I hope he plays as great as he looks, also that he’s an attacking full-back and puts crosses in like Imray.

@AndrewGrainger - Delighted with this. Magnifique.

@Stride75 - Va Va Voom!

@Jacknich6 - Welcome to the Baggies lad.

@GeorgeTheBaggie - Bienvenu Nolan

@Neil77WBA - Watched a few video of him. Looks a bit lightweight to me. I’m sure he’ll be an asset going forward, but I fear he will get knocked about a lot in the Championship. Compare his physique to that Imray - chalk and cheese.
