Wolves player ratings: Playmaker a cut above in Cardiff win

We rate the players after a big win at Molineux.

JOSE SA

Was kept busy. Saved early from Willock and after that most of the shots were straight at him. Showed better handling than in recent weeks.

Solid 7

KIERAN TRIPPIER

Showed some class with his delivery for Krejci's goal. Always a threat from the right. Solid at the back.

Cross 7

YERSON MOSQUERA

Not perfect but he got the job done. Has a tendency to get pulled out of position a little too much.

Steady 6

LADISLAV KREJCI

Had his hands full with Salach and there were a couple of iffy moments in the first half. Scored with a fine header to put the game to bed.

Goal 7

HUGO BUENO

Made the first goal with a fine run and clever pass. Was a threat down the left all game.

Assist 7

ANDRE

Got through plenty of work in the middle. There is still a sense he is being asked to do a little too much.

Busy 7

MARSHALL MUNETSI

It's clear Peixoto sees him as a key man in the team. Won the ball well on several occasions but the mix of this Wolves midfield still doesn't feel quite right.

Strong 6

FER LOPEZ

A cut above. Scored the opener with a run and brave header. Then involved in the build-up to the second. No surprise Wolves look a better side when he is on the pitch.

Class 8

JORDAN JAMES

Tested Trott with an early shot before then being forced off with injury just past the half hour mark. The one blot on the day.

N/A

RAFIKI SAID

Comfortably his best performance so far and it would have been better had he accepted a gift from Trott. Laid on the second, won corner for the third.

Lively 7

ADAM ARMSTRONG

Scored for the second straight week. Didn't have a huge amount of chances otherwise but put in a big shift. Looks more confident.

Goal 7

SUBSTITUTES

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde 6 (for James, 36), Rodrigo Gomes 6 (for Lopez, 66), Mateus Mane 6 (for Said, 67), Tommy Doyle 6 (for Andre, 76), Tawanda Chirewa (for Armstrong, 76) Subs not used: Tchatchoua, Toti, Neave, Virginia (gk).
