Jid Okeke re-joins Walsall on loan from Stockport County until the end of the season
Walsall have re-signed wing-back Jid Okeke on loan from League One side Stockport County until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, who made 18 appearances for the Saddlers during the first half of the season, was recalled by Stockport last month.
Mat Sadler recently quashed suggestions that Okeke could return to Bescot, but he has now become their fifth signing of the January transfer window.
Okeke scored his only goal in his first loan spell in a 3-1 win at Shrewsbury Town in the EFL Trophy.
He featured 13 times for Walsall in League Two before he was recalled on the same day as former loanees Dan Cox and Ryan Finnigan.
"I really enjoyed my time at the club the first time around, everyone made me feel so welcome and that's important for me," Okeke said.

"From the moment I walked in, you could tell this is a good group and a good environment to be involved in.
"I'm looking forward to picking up where I left off, putting the shirt on and seeing everyone again."
The youngster was linked with a return to his home country where unnamed German club were believed to be interested in signing him in preparation for next season.
Okeke is only eligible to play for two different clubs in the same season, and has already played for Walsall and Stockport County this term.
Since returning to Edgley Park, Okeke has played just nine minutes across his two cameos from the bench.
"He's someone who we all know really well and his drive and athleticism is something that he has in abundance," boss Mat Sadler said.
"Jid is versatile and can operate in different positions as we've seen, and he adds further competition for places.
"We're looking forward to working with Jid again and we thank our colleagues at Stockport County for allowing him to continue his football with us between now and the end of the season."
His return follows the permanent signings of Alex Pattison from Bradford City and Alfie Chang from Birmingham City.

Defender Kacper Lopata and striker Aaron Loupalo-Bi also joined on loan from Barnsley and Fulham under-21s earlier in the window.
Meanwhile, Lewis Warrington departed the club on Sunday to join League Two rivals Tranmere Rovers.
