Mat Sadler not expecting "loads more" Walsall transfers in January window

Defender Kacper Lopata and striker Aaron Loupalo-Bi have also joined on loan from Barnsley and Fulham under-21s respectively. 

"I wouldn't expect loads" - Sadler on potential transfers

"We'll see," Sadler replied when asked if Walsall will be further bolstering their ranks in the next 12 days. 

"I don't think there is loads to be done because we've got a really strong squad. 

"Maybe a player if a player becomes available but it has to be the right one. 

"I wouldn't expect loads between now and the end of the window."

Sadler confirmed last week that goalkeeper Myles Roberts, midfielder Rico Richards and top scorer Daniel Kanu will remain on loan until the end of the season.

However, Walsall did face a triple setback earlier in the window when Jid Okeke, Dan Cox and Ryan Finnigan were recalled by their parent clubs. 

Getting business done early was always priority for Walsall

The aim has always been to complete the majority of their business by the midway point of the winter window - according to Sadler. 

He has been pleased with the club's business in January so far and won't be rushing into adding many more bodies to his squad.

"What we have been able to do in this window is do a lot of our work early," he added.

"All of our stuff done by the 15th of January - plus two weeks to see how the market shakes out. 

"We're pleased with what we've done so far. Aaron and Kacper came on today and will add another layer to us and more competition for places. 

"We won't be rushing out, anything we do will be for the right reasons."
