Norwich 1 Blues 1 - verdict

Seb Larsson's 39th minute header earned Birmingham a valuable point at Norwich but Darel Russell's second half equaliser ended Blues' 100% league record.

The Blues came agonisingly close to winning it at the death, when substitute Gary McSheffrey fired a golden opportunity over the bar with two minutes to go.

Just seconds later, Norwich keeper David Marshall made a stunning save at the feet of Kevin Phillips.
